What I learned from Week 1 of the NFL season

I never have been a fan of Internet lists, so I may need to have a few drinks tonight to wash down the taste of hypocrisy. Before I wash off the filth, I'll indulge all of you list-lovers out there.

NFL Draft Grapevine: AFC winners and losers

Now that we've had a few days to digest the offerings of the 2010 NFL Draft, it is time for our annual draft winners and losers piece. In what is always a controversial analysis, everyone has fun grading the draft or tearing apart the next guy's evaluation. Truth be told, it's unfair to grade anything before a few seasons of football have been played, but who has time for that? Tap your mouse here for more »

NFL Draft Grapevine: McNabb's effects on the draft

Being a mock drafter is a tough job, I tell ya. You need thick skin, because, after all, you're always wrong, and you never get credit when you're right.

No one remembers if you correctly picked the first 10 picks, and no matter how accurate you are, you are considered a fool by most. It comes with the territory.

The Donovan McNabb trade caused a ripple effect in our last mock draft, so it was time to update that puppy before we were berated any further.

With Monday's update came a lot of changes, so let's break them down. Tap your mouse here for more »

I love me some … TO?

The pressure is building, and my fan base is becoming agitated. While I have found plenty of success in personal leagues, it has been a full year since I have captured an industry experts league title.

As I neared my office this morning, it became evident that my followers have had enough. A billboard had been erected alongside the freeway that delivered a clear message: Mr. Bonini, please deliver us a championship in '09!

It was signed "50,000-plus fans from MessageToCory.com." Tap your mouse here for more »

Five early Week 13 sleepers

Check back with KFFL.com for more Week 13 fantasy football sleepers!

Jonathan Stewart, running back, Carolina Panthers: Stewart is tough to start on a weekly basis, but his Week 13 matchup (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) makes for a near ideal play. They have allowed 148.0 rushing yards and a lone ground score per game to the position in the past month. Stewart has excellent history against this division rival, too. What goes into finding the next Wes Welker-type player to help jumpstart your fantasy season? Do you have a battered receiving corps and need a contributor with a pulse that comes on the cheap?

While every scenario is different to some degree, common factors often remain. Tap your mouse here for more »
