Carson Palmer: What’s next?

According to published reports, head coach Marvin Lewis says Carson Palmer won't be a Cincinnati Bengal in 2011.

Should we be surprised? (Should we care?) Palmer reportedly says he is sitting on a mountain of cash and doesn't need Cincy's money. I believe he doesn't, but that kind of loot is tough to say no to. Tap your mouse here for more »

Hakeem Nicks to miss three weeks

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (leg) is expected to miss three weeks because he is suffering from compartment leg syndrome, according to The Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo.

Already without Steve E. Smith (pectoral) and Ramses Barden (ankle), the Giants are in trouble at receiver. This leaves Mario Manningham as the No. 1 receiver for their Week 12 meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Derek Hagan is expected to serve as the No. 2 receiver, with Duke Calhoun likely filling the No. 3 role. Tap your mouse here for more »

NFL Draft Grapevine: AFC winners and losers

In what is always a controversial analysis, everyone has fun grading the draft or tearing apart the next guy's evaluation. Truth be told, it's unfair to grade anything before a few seasons of football have been played, but who has time for that? Tap your mouse here for more »

Five early Week 16 sleepers!

Check back with KFFL.com for more Week 16 sleepers!

David Garrard, quarterback, Jacksonville Jaguars: Garrard is coming off a big game, but we're more concerned about his Week 16 opponent. The New England Patriots have allowed quarterbacks a per-game average of 257.2 passing yards and 2.33 touchdowns since Week 9. Garrard can be considered if the weather is reasonable. Five early Week 15 sleepers!

Check back with KFFL.com for more Week 15 fantasy football sleepers!

Jason Campbell, quarterback, Washington Redskins: Campbell has been a very consistent contributor over the past three weeks. He has thrown two or more touchdown passes each game during this time. Since Week 10, the New York Giants have allowed enemy slingers to average 303.0 passing yards and 2.0 touchdowns per outing while intercepting just 0.5 throws per game. Five early Week 14 sleepers

Check back with KFFL.com for more Week 14 fantasy football sleepers!

Matt Moore, quarterback, Carolina Panthers: Beware: Jake Delhomme (finger) may return. Moore didn't post quality stats last week by any stretch of the imagination (161 yards, no TDs, one INT), but this week should be a different story. CAR probably won't be able to run as easily versus a Bill Belichick defense as they did against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New England has struggled against quarterbacks in the last six weeks, allowing 277.6 yards and 2.4 scores per game. Tap your mouse here for more »

Early sleepers for Week 9

Check back with us for more Week 9 sleepers in our Weekly Playbook section.

Alex D. Smith, quarterback, San Francisco 49ers: Even after a respectable showing in Week 8, the Tennessee Titans' defense against quarterbacks ranks 31st in the past month. Smith is considerably improved from a few years ago, and he has viable targets to work with. With six teams on the bye, start him as a fill-in. Tap your mouse here for more »
