Wild Card Weekend predictions
It is the season of NFL playoff brackets, and I have released mine on KFFL.com. You can also find the brackets for fellow KFFL editors and a group bracket.
I struggled with a few selections for this weekend's games, but I ultimately decided on my playoff predictions despite much angst. Tap your mouse here for more »
Taylor Jonathan Yates to the rescue?
The Houston Texans' quarterback situation leaves a lot to be desired, but that doesn't mean there is no fantasy value to be found here.
Rookie T.J. Yates is being prepped to make his first NFL start, against the Atlanta Falcons. Veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme, 36, was signed this week to back up the youngster. The North Carolina product should remain the starter as long as he is protective of the rock. The Texans will not ask him to do too much; he has a strong running game to rely on and a quality supporting cast of targets. Tap your mouse here for more »
Fantasy football running back targets and stashes
We are getting awfully close to that time of the year (no, not the holidays), as fantasy football regular seasons are winding down and the playoff landscape is being finalized over the remaining few weeks of play.
This had me thinking about which players I wanted to stash and target in some of my leagues. Stash players: I'm referring to those hardly known, seldom used options that a make you gasp upon realizing your opponent had the fortitude to put the player into their lineup against you.
Targeted players include midrange options that you can probably land on the cheap, if your league allows trading. Today's focus is the running back position. Tap your mouse here for more »

What's next for one of the NFL's all-time greats?
OK, I'll be the first to admit my man-love for LaDainian Tomlinson entering the 2009 fantasy football season bit me in the tail in a lot of leagues. There were many justifiable reasons to like LT as a buy-low draft pick last summer, but he was also a risky choice.
Heading into the 2010 fantasy fray, Tomlinson's future is cloudy, and his dominance is a thing of the past. Regardless of where he ends up, it's no secret that LT's best play is behind him, and his fantasy value is going to be at the lowest of his illustrious career. Tap your mouse here for more »
