Minnesota Vikings' Sidney Rice likely out for half the season
Minnesota Vikings WR Sidney Rice (hip) confirmed in a text message to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Chip Scoggins that he underwent hip surgery Monday, Aug. 23, in Colorado, and will likely miss the first half of the season, according to Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Kerry Collins, quarterback, Tennessee Titans: The veteran passer has a favorable matchup for Week 4 play, and desperate owners should take notice. The sixth-year veteran hopes to stay healthy long enough to show the world what he can do. Schaub has missed 10 games since joining Houston in 2007. He was on pace for 4,426 passing yards last year and has plenty of targets to work with in the passing game. We think Schaub is ready to step into the top 10 of fantasy passers.
