We're getting closer to wrapping up Pro Days as we inch closer to the 2011 NFL Draft. The league released the list of compensatory picks this afternoon, and we'll keep you abreast of some recent player visits around the league. - The New England Patriots worked out University of Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi on the university's campus Thursday, March 24, reports ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss.
- The Atlanta Falcons conducted a private workout with University of Kentucky running back Derrick Locke Thursday, March 24, a source told Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.
- The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to meet with Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams before the 2011 NFL Draft, a source told Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.
- The Chargers are scheduled to meet with San Diego State wide receiver Vincent Brown Wednesday, March 30, a source told Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.
- The Chiefs are scheduled to work out University of Miami wide receiver Leonard Hankerson at some point before the 2011 NFL Draft, reports Omar Kelly, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
- The San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to conduct a private workout with UCLA place kicker Kai Forbath Friday, March 25, a source told Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.
- The agent for Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers (knee), Joe Flanagan, released a statement Thursday, March 24, dispelling false rumors about Bowers' surgically repaired knee that have circulated since the NFL Scouting Combine, reports Mary Kay Cabot, of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Flanagan promised that teams attending Bowers' Pro Day April 1 will see for themselves he's the best defensive player in the NFL Draft and that he's fully recovered from surgery in January to repair a torn meniscus. He will also have the knee checked April 8 in Indianapolis.
- The New York Jets are scheduled to meet with Hampton defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis and Temple linebacker Elijah Joseph at some point in April, reports Manish Mehta, of the New York Daily News.
