The Milwaukee Brewers received starting pitcher Zack Greinke from the Kansas City Royals, in exchange for outfielder Lorenzo Cain, shortstop Alcides Escobar, pitcher Joe Odorizzi and pitcher Jeremy Jeffress, according to Andrew Wagner, of OnMilwaukee.com. Ken Rosenthal, of FOXSports.com, reports the Royals will also receive shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt and $2 million.

Some reports exclude Jeffress from the deal, instead suggesting a player to be named will be added to the deal.

Ethier, who was hitting .392 at the time of the injury, sustained the fracture during batting practice Saturday, May 15. The Associated Press reports Ethier will be examined by a hand specialist in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 16. "It's a big thing," Ethier said.
