Free agency and fantasy football
As you know, this little thing called the NFL lockout has been lifted, and fantasy owners can't get enough of this stuff. Join me as I spin around the league to address interesting, and some not so, fantasy situations.
I have to say, Tyler Thigpen is underrated (unless you're a Miami Dolphins fan. In that case, he is a worthless bum). He is reunited with Chan Gailey and will battle Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting gig. I prefer Fitz in this situation, but don't you get the impression that Buffalo does not? Keep a close eye on this one, because a quarterback change could really screw up Stevie Johnson's fantasy value.
Reggie Bush, eh? I like this move. After all, it worked out all right the last time Miami acquired a former first-round rusher from the Saints....
Daniel Thomas' third-down workload will take a hit, but I still feel Tony Sparano is perfectly comfortable making the rook his bell cow. Also, the former quarterback has experience running the wildcat; it isn't dead just yet in South Beach. Consider the powerful Thomas a No. 3 fantasy back, probably a fourth in PPR setups, and Bush a No. 4 option in point-awarding leagues. Tap your mouse here for more »
Eric Decker deserves a chance and a fantasy football roster spot
Looking for a deep sleeper at wide receiver? So am I, and I may have found him.
Second-year wide receiver Eric Decker is in a quality situation to be a profitable fantasy football gamble in all standard and deep leagues. His Denver Broncos teammate, Eddie Royal, proclaimed himself healthy after hip surgery, but wideout Demaryius Thomas (Achilles') will miss the first six to eight games. Tap your mouse here for more »

The Arizona Cardinals need to trade Beanie Wells ... pronto. The former Ohio State star could fetch a decent draft pick or, if all works out right, a player. Tap your mouse here for more »
Can Knowshon Moreno outrun the bust label in 2011?
If you believe some of the damning reports of late about Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno, you may be quick to dismiss him on draft day.
It is no secret Denver's new head coach, John Fox, prefers to pound the rock and favors a multi-back system. In fact, he said the team needs to add another back as their top priority during free agency. Tap your mouse here for more »
Fantasy footballers: Weathering the NFL lockout
Typically at this point of the summer, fantasy football fanatics have been all too busy breaking down the significance of free-agent moves while attempting to forecast how rookies will fit into their new roles as depth chart hierarchy becomes clearer.
The preeminent football platform of the United States is on hold at this time, wreaking havoc on how players are projected for fantasy purposes. Virtual prognosticators are pumping out information to help guide you to a championship, or 10, but the NFL lockout has kept much of this at bay. Tap your mouse here for more »
Is Ryan Fitzpatrick a fantasy football stud in the making?
Could the Buffalo Bills' Ryan Fitzpatrick be the breakout quarterback of 2011? He was on his way in 2010 but needs to tone down his mistakes and improve his accuracy to make the leap to the next level. Tap your mouse here for more »
