In this article KFFL breaks down fantasy football busts of the week. Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Fantasy football busts: Tight ends

Kellen Winslow, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins

Winslow has a tough matchup

Fantasy value: No. 1 or flex

• One of Tampa Bay's top receiving options, Winslow saw just three targets in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. He has just 11 catches in his last three games but luckily hit the end zone in one of them. Winslow's 10.1 yards-per-catch average on the year is uninspiring.
• Washington's pass D is a target every week, but they haven't let tight ends join the party, allowing just 3.25 catches and 38.0 yards per game to the position. Tight ends from the Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants haven't scored on Washington in that time. 

Aaron Hernandez, New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• It was Hernandez's turn to shine in New England's rookie tight end seesaw. He caught three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in Week 14. Keep in mind: Hernandez's five utilizations in Week 13 were his most since Week 9; his previous three games only gave him four targets.
• The Bears have allowed 5.00 catches per game to opposing tight ends but have limited the production to just 46.0 yards and 0.25 touchdowns per outing by the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions.
• Their zone defense appears to be a better matchup for Rob Gronkowski, who has generally performed well this year against such setups. Hernandez, meanwhile, seems to thrive against man-to-man units. Of course, both options are inherently risky because of the week-to-week changes in New England's diverse offensive attack.
