Fantasy football busts: Defensive teams

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

KC starting to wilt?

• The Saints' D has woken up since they've gotten their full secondary back in the lineup. They've been a midrange fantasy defense in the last month, averaging 2.50 sacks, 0.75 interceptions and 0.75 fumble recoveries.
• Atlanta gave NO a tough go in their first meeting this year and is at home, where they've typically performed better. Atlanta has yielded just 1.50 sacks and 1.00 interceptions per game, and they've been one of the top offenses in ball security all season.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans

Fantasy value: Bench

• The Chiefs have been a useful fantasy unit in the last month: 2.50 sacks, 1.50 interceptions and 0.50 fumble recoveries per game.
• The Titans have shown better ball control with Kerry Collins behind center. He has been sacked four times in the last month, but three came in Week 15. KC's pass rush hasn't been reliable all year, and the Titans have allowed just 1.25 sacks per game in the last four contests. They've thrown 1.50 picks per game, but three of those came from when Rusty Smith was starting.
• Sources say the Chiefs' defense is wearing down, which isn't a promising note when facing Chris Johnson.
