In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players that you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Fantasy football sleepers: Tight ends

Kevin Boss, New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Fantasy value: Midrange No. 1

The matchup favors Boss this week

• After netting four touchdown grabs in three games, Boss has totaled just three catches for 32 yards in his last two outings. A beneficiary of matchups, Boss is hardly considered a weekly option.
• The Eagles, however, make this one of those weeks to play him. Philly has allowed 6.75 catches, 63.0 yards and 0.50 touchdowns to this position per contest; they're comfortable with letting tight ends gain yardage on them over the middle as long as they focus attention elsewhere.
• Boss used this to his advantage in Week 8, when he torched them for three grabs, 70 yards and a touchdown. Last season, he was a bit more erratic, going 6-69-1 against them in Week 10 but snaring just one five-yarder in Week 14.

Dante Rosario, Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• Rosario has the tools to make an impact; his offense doesn't use him often. He has four catches in two of his last three games but mustered just two for 11 yards in Week 13.
• The Pats have allowed 4.25 receptions, 54.5 yards and 0.25 touchdown catches per game to tight ends. They'll probably be focusing on guarding wideout Steve Smith and targeting running back Jonathan Stewart (DeAngelo Williams (ankle), too, if he's healthy).
• There's a lot of chance involved in playing Rosario, as the Panthers usually feed wideout Steve Smith and leave others to pick up scraps. He offers some hope for a score, though; Rosario has tallied the most red zone utilizations of any Panther outside of Smith and their backfield this season.

NEW - John Carlson, Seattle Seahawks at Houston Texans

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• It's hard to rely on Carlson with the woes that continue to plague the Seahawks' offensive line. They've needed him to stay in block often this year, which has partially led to his miniscule 10 targets in the last four games, despite him being let loose in routes more often. Defenses have recently been centering in on knocking Carlson off his routes, and Carlson has had trouble shedding contact out of the blocks. Their pass "protection" hasn't helped him produce.
• Houston may allow him to make a splash, even if he doesn't run many routes. Tight ends have averaged 7.40 catches, 76.8 yards and 0.40 touchdowns per contest against the Texans; they're one of the best fantasy matchups for this position.
• As we mentioned, there may be better options out there in most leagues, but if you're stuck with him and can't make any moves this late in the year, at least know he has a positive matchup to run with.
