Chris Snyder, C, Arizona Diamondbacks

Snyder inherits the starting mantle from Miguel Montero, who will be out indefinitely because of a torn meniscus in his right knee. He'll require more tests to help determine if any ligaments were damaged.

Looking Younger at the dish

The 29-year-old Snyder has decent pop in his bat (12.4 career homers per flyball), especially for this position. He won't bring much else to the plate and could hamper your average, but he's a useful fill-in for those in two-catcher leagues.

Outfielders

Chris B. Young, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

Young has opened 2010 with a .292-3-11 line; more importantly, he's on pace for only 81 K's. He's streaky, so he could easily start chipping in 0-for-4 outings with three K's. However, given his 20-20 potential, the return is well worth the risk involved for those looking to bolster their OF depth.
