2009 fantasy outlook: The reigning Sprint Cup rookie of the year, Smith won almost by default last year. He became the first rookie to finish all of his races, but Smith's best finish was 14th (twice) and his average finish was 29th. Furniture Row Racing has only scheduled Smith for 12 races this year, the first coming in the Daytona 500. His 31st-place average finish at this track should keep you from selecting the driver, as it should for all other races. His best tracks are short (24th-place average finish) and the superspeedways (25th). Leave Smith alone in drafts.
