Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market - AL

Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Key

Acquire Add player (in most circumstances)
Watch Track player, add if trend continues
Pass Do not add player (in most circumstances)

Pitchers

Colorado Rockies RP Manuel Corpas
Will Corpas save one day?

Manuel Corpas, RP, Colorado Rockies

The Rox are trying to right Corpas' ship before offering him save chances in the absence of Huston Street (shoulder). Despite working around some trouble, he has shown positive signs during the first week.

Franklin Morales has filled in for Street but is wild; Colorado doesn't want to give him every opp. Two seasons of inconsistency and injuries have marred Corpas' talent, but the righty has shown brilliance in the role (19 saves in an outstanding '07). Those scrounging for potential saves shouldn't ignore the likely next in line after an injury-prone closer and an erratic temp.

Shallow mixed: Pass

Deep mixed: Watch

NL-only: Acquire
