Tim Heaney's Week 15 fantasy football matchups

by Tim Heaney on December 18, 2009 @ 03:36:01 PDT

Which battles should be catching your eye for Week 15 of the fantasy football slate?

Key Matchup Reason
Antonio Bryant, WR, TB vs. Marcus Trufant, CB, SEA Trufant a weekly target; TB wants to focus on deep ball to complement run, Josh Freeman likes Bryant - great 1-on-1 possibilities here
Willis McGahee, RB, BAL vs. Chicago Bears run defense Let it snow.... The white stuff will make BAL pound the run; McGahee could see another big workload - desperation flex, please
Jermichael Finley, TE, GB vs. Ryan Clark and Tyrone Carter, S, PIT Finley the top target for Aaron Rodgers; PIT safeties don't have range w/o Troy Polamalu - athletic Finley will cause matchup problems
Devery Henderson, WR, NO vs. Terence Newman, CB, DAL It may also be Robert Meachem, but Henderson lines up outside; Newman has been toast this year, and Deep Dev should bust one
Hakeem Nicks, WR, NYG vs. DeAngelo Hall, CB, WAS Big-play threat now the No. 2, recovered after early miscues last wk; Hall (knee) is 50-50 for game - imagine if Carlos Rogers plays?
