Fantasy football busts: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down fantasy football busts of the week. Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Brent Celek, Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions

Sell out for Celek?

• Celek caught just two passes for 32 yards last week as the Eagles offense sputtered under quarterback Kevin Kolb (concussion), who failed a concussion test Wednesday and is uncertain to play in Week 2. However, their offense played better once Michael Vick replaced Kolb. Vick targeted the tight end three times in just over a half last week, but uncertainty here makes Celek no more than a flex option.
• Detroit's defensive line, led by rookie Ndamukong Suh, is one of the strengths of their defense. Philly center Jamaal Jackson (triceps) is out for the season. The Green Bay Packers recorded six sacks against the Eagles last week. Celek might be called on to block more this week, regardless of which QB is starting.
• Of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler's 372 passing yards against Detroit last week, only 37 went to tight end Greg Olsen. Celek might not be a horrible matchup against Detroit's pass D. Vick has by no means ignored the tight end position in the past, but it figures the Eagles running backs and wideouts would be more likely to benefit from the matchup and if Vick were to start.
