Fantasy football busts: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down fantasy football busts of the week. Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Note: All statistical averages are from Week 12 to Week 15, unless otherwise specified.

Fantasy football busts: Quarterbacks

Kerry Collins, Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

  • Collins has thrown for at least 237 yards in each of his last two games and has five touchdowns over that time. That coincides with the return of Kenny Britt, which has made Tennessee's offense less one-dimensional.
  • Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco
    Cleveland doesn't rock for Flacco
  • Kansas City has yielded just 201.5 passing yards and 1.00 passing touchdowns per game to opposing quarterbacks. They've also picked off 1.25 passes per game.

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

  • Flacco is averaging 240.5 passing yards and 1.75 touchdowns per game over the last month. He has thrown just one interception in that time.
  • Cleveland has allowed just 180.0 passing yards and 0.50 passing touchdowns per game. They've also picked off one pass per game.
  • The Ravens were able to get running back Ray Rice going last week against the New Orleans Saints. This week, they could try the same against a defense that has been more susceptible to the run of late.
  • Flacco's history is a bit spotty against Cleveland. Sure, he tossed for 262 yards and three scores against them earlier this year - mainly picking on corner Eric Wright (knee), who is on IR now - but last year he managed just 155 passing yards and no scores in Cleveland.
