Fantasy football busts: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down fantasy football busts of the week. Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Robbie Gould, Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks

Fantasy value: Low-end No. 1 or bench

• Gould hasn't had a ton of attempts this year: He has connected on all of his kicks but has just three field attempts and only three extra point attempts.
• Seattle is allowing just two field goal attempts and one extra point per game. That has equated to 5.5 kicking points allowed per game through the first two weeks.

Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams

Fantasy value: Bench

• Over the first two weeks, Crosby has connected on three of his five field goal attempts. He has been perfect on all four extra point attempts.
• The Rams' 1.50 field goal attempts allowed per game are tied for the seventh most in the first two weeks. They haven't allowed many kicking points per game (6.5).

NEW - John Carney, New Orleans Saints at Buffalo Bills

Fantasy value: High-end No. 1

• It's hard to bench the kicker for the Saints offense regardless of the conditions. Through two '09 games Carney has averaged 2.00 field goal tries, making three, while averaging 6.00 one-pointers per contest.
• He's still a must-start in most formats, but you shouldn't expect as big a game we've seen out of New Orleans this year. Also, the Bills have allowed just 1.50 extra points and only 1.50 field goal tries per game through the first two contests. Both averages put them in the top 10 defenses against kickers.
