Fantasy football busts: Place kickers
Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Fantasy value: Midrange No. 1
- Bryant has attempted at least two field goals in each of his last four games, making all 10 of his tries; he has only missed three of his 27 attempts on the year. He posted at least eight kicking points in each of those outings.
- Bryant scored nine kicking points in his last matchup against the Bucs, but the Buccaneers have allowed just 1.50 tries for both field goals and extra points per game.
Robbie Gould, Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
Fool's Gould in Week 13
Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench
- Gould, who has made 18 of his 22 field goal tries this year, but he has been erratic in his opportunities; he has three in two of his last four weeks, but he has attempted just one in his other two games. He notched seven kicking points, with two three-point tires, in his Week 1 game with Detroit.
- The Lions have allowed just 1.25 field goal attempts but have yielded 3.75 extra-point tries per game. Touchdowns might be a better bet for the sometimes high-octane Bears offense.
