Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions

The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.

Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks (63 percent)

Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck
Hass conjured flashbacks in Week 1

In Week 1 Hasselbeck connected on 78.3 percent of his passes and threw two scoring strikes while chipping in another on the ground. The Seattle passing offense looks like it has new life, especially with Mike X. Williams at wideout. He finished with only 170 passing yards but is a quality No. 2 fantasy quarterback as long as he remains healthy. Look to add him off the wire if you're in need of depth.

Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles (93 percent)

Quarterback Kevin Kolb (concussion) appears unlikely to go this week, so desperate fantasy owners should turn to his backup, Vick. In a half against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 Vick demonstrated his trademark athleticism. He passed for only 175 yards (one touchdown) but rushed for 103 on 11 attempts. With a positive matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 2, Vick is not only a priority addition for all owners in need of a short-term quarterback solution but makes for a quality one-week play, as well.

Kolb looks like a high school QB. I am glad I stayed away from that steaming pile of poop.
