Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: Priority additionsThe following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team. Dallas Cowboys (42 percent)
Note the reminder to check your league for the team that was coming off a week 5 bye and put forth a strong effort versus the New England Patriots. They've averaged 2.0 sacks, 1.33 picks and 1.0 fumble recoveries per contest in their last three games. Dallas' upcoming slate: St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals - some winnable games versus unsettled offenses. Fantasy football free agents: One-week playsThe following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. Cleveland Browns (90 percent) The Seattle Seahawks might have to start Charlie Whitehurst at QB this coming weekend in place of Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral). Though the bye week might've been enough time for Whitehurst to get a bit more comfortable, this switch could mean good news for a Browns defense that has transitioned well to a 4-3 setup. They've averaged 2.33 sacks, 0.67 interceptions and 0.67 fumble recoveries per game over their last three outings and tamed an Oakland Raiders offense that had its own injury issues under center on Sunday. Though Seattle's offensive line has improved, its vulnerability at the slinger spot should aid its upcoming opponent. The Broncs travel to the Miami Dolphins in Week 7 and are coming off their bye week. The added prep time can only help, especially against the reeling 0-5 'Phins. Matt Moore has been taken down a whopping seven times in less than two games and has tossed three picks, one of which went back for a score. Denver has averaged 3.00 sacks, one fumble recovered and an interception per game in their last three outings. The Broncos' pass rush could easily force Moore into making mistakes. Denver is a worthwhile one-week lease against the hapless Dolphins, especially if you are dealing with bye weeks. Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTAbout Tim Heaney
