Fantasy Baseball Rankings Report - AL

Fantasy baseball players must follow changes in preseason rankings, including how injuries, depth chart changes and transactions can affect their fantasy baseball teams. Stay up to date with notable adjustments in KFFL's fantasy baseball projections to outperform competitors.

Up

Garret Anderson, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Anderson gives the Dodgers a lefty bat off the bench, which we noted would be valuable as NL-only depth.

Ian Kennedy, SP, Arizona Diamondbacks

Handed a rotation spot (No. 3 with Brandon Webb sidelined), we jacked up Kennedy's value as a deep mixed and NL-only sleeper.

Felipe Paulino, SP, Houston Astros

The live arm is positioning himself for a rotation spot and NL-only sleeper worth.

Down

Reed Johnson, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

The addition of Garret Anderson likely limits Johnson's bench work, but the gritty Johnson has a decent power-speed bench profile for Senior Circuit setups.

Madison Bumgarner, SP, San Francisco Giants

Top prospect couldn't regain velocity this spring and lost the No. 5 job to Todd Wellemeyer. Don't count out Bum making an impact in all leagues sometime this season; he's worth an NL-only stash pick.
