Had the eye, now is growing in to his pop. His early-season homer tear should not be his baseline, though. Joe Mauer still uses all fields; homers aren't his priority. His up-stepping flyball percentage, however, points to a 20-homer lock for many years. You'll have to spend big, early if you want him. About Tim Heaney
