Greetings, and welcome to KFFL's first release of the 2007 baseball season! Our Offseason Guide is the precursor to our in-depth Draft Guide, which will give you the tools to dominate your fantasy league.

The 2007 Offseason Guide will recap what will be one of the most talked about offseasons for years to come. While free agents are cashing in at astronomical rates, we're bringing you the most in-depth coverage to keep you atop the power curve.

Whether you're a seasoned vet or a blue-chip rookie, KFFL has what you need to withstand the marathon that is the Major League Baseball season and bring home the league championship.

In this season's guide, we have reports to teach you how to play the game and help you select the ideal league for you. We have also covered the Arizona Fall League, which showcases many of the game's top prospects, as well as recapped all the player movement during the offseason. We have specialized reports that will answer questions about what changing leagues will do to today's players' value, which players to look to rebound or regress in 2007 and which players to avoid due to a long-term injury. We'll preview what to look for in spring training and guide those in keeper leagues into selecting the right players to keep.

I'm back for my sixth year of baseball coverage. Our staff has remained intact through the years, and we have won numerous championships each season for the past few years. We will once again feature managing editors Cory J. Bonini and Nicholas Minnix; longtime KFFL editors Jason Hoffmann, Bruce Wasserzieher and Steve Ungrey; staff writers Buck Davidson, Jim Walker, Bryce McRae, Josh Ellis, Jim Hohmann, Fran Duffy, Steve Kraser, Matt Carr, Chris Hadorn, David Wysocki, Scott Ehrlich, Anthony Agolia and Chris Kolb. We also welcome newcomers Mitch Fortner and Tim Heaney to the staff this season.

We're still a few weeks away from the start of spring training, so sit back and allow us to do the work for you.

Best of luck to a championship season!
