Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players that you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 4 to Week 7, unless otherwise noted.

Fantasy football sleepers: Running backs

Chris Brown, Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• Brown isn't utilized often, but he does receive some short-yardage and goal line looks. Last week, he was utilized five times, including once in the red zone. Over the last four weeks, Brown has 61 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries (3.6 yards per carry).
• Buffalo has surrendered the most rushing yards per game (195.5) to this position over the last month. They've also allowed 1.25 rushing scores per game to the position.
• When starter Steve Slaton fumbles, Brown usually replaces him, at least for a series. Slaton has fumbled six times this year (losing four) including one in three of his last four games.
• Brown is worth a one-week play. He should be available in almost all leagues.

NEW - Jamal Lewis, Cleveland Browns at Chicago Bears

Worth a look

Fantasy value: No. 2 or flex

• Other than a 117-yard output on 31 carries in Week 5, Lewis - and the Browns offense in general - has been quiet. He has combined for just 68 yards on 26 totes in his last two contests.
• 'Da Bears, who have gone through linebackers like honey, haven't been their usual stout selves against running backs in the last month (three games). Their 108.0 ground yards yielded to them per game isn't bad, but they've allowed 1.33 touchdowns per contest to carriers.
• Lewis doesn't usually excel in the receiving game, but for what it's worth he has two multicatch games this season. The Bears offer another chance for this as they have allowed enemy backs to snare 6.00 throws per contest since Week 3.
