Fantasy football sleepers: PK - Week 3

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players you wouldn’t necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Fantasy football sleepers: Place kickers

Chicago Bears PK Robbie Gould
Good as Gould

Robbie Gould, Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers

Fantasy value: High-end No. 1

  • The typically reliable Gould is 5-for-5 on field goals so far this year, with a long of 42. Chicago's offense took a back seat last week versus the New Orleans Saints but kicked it up a notch against a shaky Atlanta Falcons secondary in Week 1. Though they're a blood rival of the Bears, Green Bay has their own DB woes, especially with safety Nick Collins (neck) done for the season. They let Cam Newton top 400 yards last week, mostly in comeback work.
  • Either way, Chicago should be able to move the ball against GB, setting Gould up for plenty of opps. The Pack has allowed five three-point tries and six PATs.

Jay Feely, Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

Fantasy value: High-end No. 1

  • Feely missed his only field goal attempt of the season, a 36-yarder in Week 1. He has finished seven touchdowns so far, though, and Arizona's offense has another solid matchup this week.
  • Seattle has allowed six field goal attempts and six PATs on the season. Arizona should be able to move the ball well against them. Feely made both field goals he attempted against the Seahawks last year.
