Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Fantasy football busts: Wide receivers

Anquan Boldin, Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fantasy value: No. 2 or No. 3

Poor QB play hurting Smith

• Looks like opposing defenses are starting to pay more attention to Boldin, who has averaged just 3.33 catches, 35.7 yards and 0.33 touchdowns per game. Boldin saw just four targets last week, with T.J. Houshmandzadeh seeing an expanded role.
• Boldin might have a tough time recovering in Week 12. Tampa Bay ranks in the middle of the pack in defending wide receivers, allowing 154.3 yards but allowing just 11.0 receptions and 0.50 touchdowns per game against the position. Plus, Boldin will likely have Aqib Talib covering him; Talib has flashed elite potential at times this season.
• Baltimore might want to focus on the run game against Tampa Bay's spotty defense there.

Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers at Cleveland Browns

Fantasy value: Low-end No. 3

• His stock has already dwindled with Carolina's QB carousel from injuries and ineptitude. Smith has just 4.25 catches and 46.8 yards per game.
• The Browns' defense has exceeded expectations. Opposing wideouts' averages: 9.33 catches, 106.0 yards and 1.00 touchdowns per game. Those stats came from the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Johnny Knox, Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Fantasy value: Low-end No. 3

• Knox has led Chicago's wideout production with averages of 4.33 catches and 64.7 yards on 7.00 targets per game. He has at least five catches in three of his last four games.
• Philly hasn't been kind to this position: 12.33 catches allowed per game to them, but that comes with averages of just 120.7 yards and 0.33 touchdown catches.
• Can quarterback Jay Cutler find enough time against Philly's blitz-heavy pass rush to find Knox - or any other receiving target - consistently?
