Some high-level players will be included, because you need to know when is time to sit a player even though it may not seem appropriate. Primarily, however, we will address the midrange to low-end fantasy options that you rack your brain over each week. Read on to learn which of these players that you wouldn't want in your lineup.

Fantasy football busts: Quarterbacks

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

Big Ben should play small

• First of all, Roethlisberger is expected to play through a sprained right foot. That should hinder some of his normal abilities that have allowed him to average 267.8 passing yards and 1.75 touchdown throws per game.
• The division-rival Ravens haven't been an easy matchup for opposing passing games lately, allowing just 220.5 passing yards and 1.25 touchdowns while also picking off 1.25 passes per game.
• In his Week 16 meeting with Baltimore last year, he compiled 259 yards via the pass but earned just one passing touchdown and completed 51.5 percent of his passes. He has thrown for more than one touchdown only once against Baltimore in five games since 2005.

Jon Kitna, Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

• Kitna has been up and down since taking over the Cowboys' saddle. He has put up three games of more than 300 passing yards but also three games of fewer than 200. In his last five games, he has as many touchdown tosses as he has interceptions.
• The Colts have allowed just 220.3 aerial yards and 1.25 touchdown throws per game to this position. They've done so against some steady or better passing games: the Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers.
• Indy's run defense is porous. The Cowboys have increased their ground game since Jason Garrett took over as head coach, and that should continue this week. Also, defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis should keep Kitna in check.
