Fantasy Football Waiver WireFantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB - Week 15
By Bryce McRae Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTIf you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquireThe following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs. Safe to say the Seattle Seahawks' secondary made things easier for Smith's return to the starting gig, but don't discount the return and effectiveness of the offense's spread elements. He's making Vernon Davis relevant again and seems to have reignited Josh Morgan. His Week 15 matchup Thursday with the San Diego Chargers isn't an opportune play, but in Week 16, he faces the St. Louis Rams, who in the last month have allowed 242.3 passing yards and 2.00 aerial touchdowns per game. If you own Aaron Rodgers (concussion) or Matt Cassel (illness), or are just scrambling, Smith is one of very few workable waiver wire options this late in the year. Fantasy football free agents: One-week playsThe following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. Jason Campbell, Oakland Raiders (83 percent)
OK, it's going to take some guts to play Campbell in your fantasy playoffs, but you might not have a choice if you were relying on the Kansas City Chiefs' Matt Cassel (illness) or the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers (concussion). Campbell threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort last week. It was close, though; not all those yards were garbage time. The sixth-year vet has improved his accuracy in each of the last two weeks. It also helps Oakland has a pair of backs Denver will have to devote most of their attention to. Over the last month, the Broncos are giving up just 220.8 passing yards per game, but they're also yielding 2.00 passing touchdowns (tied for fourth) per game. Campbell should be good for just that this week. Collins helped bring this passing game back to life in Week 14, hitting on 28 of 39 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns. Kenny Britt's return helped. The Titans have the Houston Texans this week - one of the worst secondaries in football and one of the best fantasy matchups for opposing passing games. In the last month, they've allowed 247.5 aerial yards and 1.75 passing scores per game. Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTMore Articles You Will Like
