Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays

The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.

Shayne Graham, Cincinnati Bengals (61 percent)

Graham has at least three field goal attempts in three of his last four games and has connected on all 10 in that stretch. He has made good on his opportunities. Well, he should receive plenty in Week 16 as he faces the Kansas City Chiefs; KC has allowed 2.50 field goal and 3.33 extra point attempts per game to this position in the last six weeks. If the Cleveland Browns' Jerome Harrison can run for 286 yards against the Chiefs, it shouldn't be too hard for Cedric Benson and the Bengals to move the ball. Another reason to expect more from Graham this week.

Joe Nedney, San Francisco 49ers (75 percent)

San Fran hasn't given Nedney a ton of kicking chances since Week 8; he has just 12 field goal attempts, but he has connected on 10 of those kicks (83.3 percent). This week's opponent, the Detroit Lions, have been the most generous team to opposing kickers over the last six weeks. They've given up 2.17 field goal and 3.67 extra point attempts per game in that time, good for 9.7 fantasy points per. We don't expect to stop against this weekend for Nedney.
