Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays

The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.

Shayne Graham, Cincinnati Bengals (71 percent)

Cincy's offense is more conservative than it has been in seasons past, but that appears to be benefiting Graham nowadays. The Bengals' booter put up a solid eight kicking points per game in his past four. His club is expected to get running back Cedric Benson (hip) back in the mix of what could be a three-pronged fork now that Larry Johnson is in the utensil drawer.

Cincinnati faces the Detroit Lions in Week 13, too. They have been one of the very best teams for kickers to face all season. In the past six weeks (five games), nothing has changed; they have yielded 2.8 extra points and 2.4 field goal attempts per game.

Kris Brown, Houston Texans (55 percent)

Brown has posted a modest 7.2 kicking points per game in his last five. He would have flunked out of sniper school with that field goal percentage (68.4). Instead, in the NFL, where he'll face the Jacksonville Jaguars, Brown will just reload.

The Jags have presented a top-10 fantasy matchup to kickers this season. In the past six weeks (five games), J-ville has given up 1.4 extra points and 2.8 field goal attempts per game, making them a top-five favored foe.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays

The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.

NEW - Olindo Mare, Seattle Seahawks (68 percent)

The vet has netted at least eight fantasy points in three of his last four games; this year he's 19-for-21 for three and hasn't missed a field goal try since suffering his only two shanks in Week 3. He hasn't attempted a kick of 50-plus yards but has only missed one of six in the bracket below that.

In the last six weeks, the San Francisco 49ers have allowed 1.67 XPAs, 2.50 three-point tries and 8.2 kicking points per game; the last two figures put them in the league's bottom five.
