Fantasy Football Waiver WireFantasy Football Waiver Wire: PK - Week 11
By Bryce McRae Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTIf you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: Priority additionsThe following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team. Shayne Graham, Cincinnati Bengals (80 percent) Sure, it's easy to recommend a guy after he connected on four of his five field goal attempts, as Graham did in Week 10. Week 10 was the exception for Graham, though; it was the first time he has finished with more than one field goal made in a game this season. Why is he here? The Bengals face the Cleveland Browns, the Oakland Raiders and the Detroit Lions in the next three weeks. All three are in the top 10 in fantasy points allowed to kickers over the last six weeks; Oakland and Detroit are in the top five. If you are playing the matchups, Graham could cover you for the next three weeks, at least. Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquireThe following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs. NEW - Ryan Succop, Kansas City Chiefs (95 percent) The Chiefs don't have an effective offense. We know this. Succop, however, has proven to be an important cog in the last few weeks, nailing nine of 12 three-point attempts, including going 4-for-7 from 40-plus yards. We can expect the Chiefs to settle for a ton of these; sometimes kickers from poor teams can outperform boots that are "stuck" on excellent squads kicking extra points. Fantasy football free agents: One-week playsThe following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. NEW - John Kasay, Carolina Panthers (80 percent) Kasay has attempted just 12 field goals this season, making eight. Kasay has been more apt to attempt extra points than field goals with the Panthers' erratic offense this year. This week, against the Miami Dolphins, he'll have better odds to contribute. The Dolphins allowed 3.00 field goal and 2.25 extra point tries per outing in the last four weeks. Carolina's offense has woken up a bit, meaning they should line up Kasay for chances more often.
