Belisle seems like the sounder choice here because he has better numbers and manager Jim Tracy's trust. Dotel didn't inspire in his previous two stops (Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers), but he has experience - whatever that's worth.

Then, there's also the fact that the Rockies are out of the playoff hunt now, so they may try just about anything. Rafael Betancourt, strictly the setup man all year? Franklin Morales, failure as closer in April? But if you're looking for an edge, Belisle or Dotel could give it to you. Four games left.
