Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets are no longer of use. KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market series gives you tips on fantasy baseball players available as free agents, on waivers or for your FAAB dollars in your rotisserie or head-to-head baseball league. It's time to replace your fantasy baseball busts.

Mujica, for now

The Marlins placed Leo Nunez on the restricted list. He's dealing with an identity crisis. The common assumption is that the fill-in to target is Steve Cishek, the rookie right-hander who this season has saved three games, including two at the end of August while Nunez was unavailable. The assumption isn't entirely correct.

Old-school manager Jack McKeon stated his preference for a veteran in the ninth inning, at least against teams involved in playoff races. That veteran is more than likely to be Mujica, for whose attacking mentality McKeon expressed his appreciation earlier this season.

The problem with the declaration is that the Fish square off against the all-but-certain NL Central champion Milwaukee Brewers this weekend for three games. Florida can still help to determine who might avoid the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS and home-field advantage in the NLCS, should Philly fall in the NLDS, so McKeon may view this entire series as important. Or, he may not.

The Marlins finish with a three-game set against the Washington Nationals. All bets are off then, if they aren't sooner. Clay Hensley could be a candidate in any of the club's final six contests. Cishek is a good possibility in the meaningless series versus the Nats. Mujica is the safest bet of the three to see opportunities soonest, and the club's grizzled skipper may not see much reason to change course if things go according to plan. Cishek is the second-best target, initially.

Shallow mixed: Consider

Deep mixed: Consider
