Could Headley help your Chase?

The Friars activated Headley (fractured pinkie) from the disabled list on Monday, but the third baseman didn't return to the starting lineup until Wednesday, at the Colorado Rockies. The switch-hitter went 0-for-2, whiffing in both at-bats, but he also drove in a run with a sac fly.

Someone in your fantasy baseball league may have dumped Headley because of the injury he incurred. In 425 plate appearances, he's batted .291 with only four home runs and 44 RBIs but also 13 thefts in 15 attempts. The fairly disciplined batsman has also drawn 51 walks.

The negatives are that the 27-year-old will be at home for his final two series of the season - against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. In 2011, at PETCO Park, Headley has a .244/.352/.333 slash line at home, compared to a .330/.399/.465 slash line on the road.
