KFFL Free Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and Cheat Sheet
Can MJD be the top fantasy back in '09?
The 2009 fantasy football season is here! KFFL.com's fantasy football rankings and cheat sheets will continue to be updated each week to bring you the most recent information available when preparing for your fantasy league football drafts.
Please note: With overall fantasy football rankings, the players are ranked in order of where they should finish the season in terms of fantasy football value. As with any fantasy football draft, players will not always be selected where their value dictates they should. Utilize KFFL.com's Average Draft Position tools to see where a player is being selected on average. Again, you must remember every league draft is different so a player can go much earlier or later than their ADP value. Use this to your advantage during your fantasy football draft!

I Would.
Calvin Led the NFL in TD catches last year with 5 different QBs throwing him the ball, no running game, no 2nd WR to take the double and triple teams off, & no motivation for playing football being on a winless team.
Culpepper has lost 30lbs and had a full offseason with the Lions and Linehan, he's a better option at QB with a better O Cordinator than anybody they threw out there last year as will Stafford once they think he's ready.
Calvin is not even in his prime yet, he is the most freakish athlete in the NFL. 6'5" with 4.2 speed and a 40+" vertical.
Reggie Bush ranked ahead of Turner ? Turner ranked 17th ? Derrick Ward ranked ahead of Housyourmamma ? Barber ranked 31st ? I pray that my $500 draft at Quest goes like this.
With all the praises being sung about Michael Bush and how McFadden can't be the main back, why do you have him ranked so high? Is he going to be catching 5 passes a game or something?
What are your thoughts on Pierre Thomas this year? It's not as if he doens't catch any passes so what gives on 17 spots lower than his ADP? I got Bush in a keeper already and am considering taking Thomas with the 7th overall pick (43rd overall player) to match them up together. I'm predicing big things for both of them. 12 team league. thoughts?
You dont have to take thomas with your 7th pick. He will absolutley be there on the way back. You will get one of the top WR's there. I rank the top WR's as 1. Fitz 2. Andre Johnson 3. Moss 4. Calvin Johnson
Noah, All the top WR's are long gone in this format. The top 3 on my board are Colston, Welker, TO. Do I go Pierre 7th (43rd overall since 36 players are already kept) or take on of those "top tier" WR's. ORRRRR, do I take DMC over Pierre?
I'm amazed at how many people posting comments don't "get it". These are RANKINGS, not draft positions.
For example, look at Witten, RANKED at 19 overall, but with an ADP of 42. Abosultely no one (I hope) would take Witten with the 19th overall pick, because there are others (RB's and WR's) you need to get that early. But if you got him with the last pick in the 3rd round (36th overall) you'd have gotten GREAT value!
I look at it this way - take the ADP number and subtract the rank number. The bigger the difference, the better the value. And the more likely you are to win your league.
Look at Turner - ranked 18, but going at an average draft position of 3. I'll be happy to let him go that early in the first round! I'll win my league by taking someone like Fitzgerald or Jackson at number 5 or 6, then getting a better ranked RB (like Gore or Portis) in round 2.
It's all about the value that player gives you at a particular point in the draft. I really like Reggie Bush in PPR, and if I can snag him in the 4rd round (his ADP is currently 44), I'll be ecstatic! Number 14 value with pick 44? I'll take that all day long.
