I believe the pre rankings are essential in getting focused for the drafts. I have been waiting for the rest of the rankings since I seen the initial rankings on May 8th.
Thanking you for a good job well done.
What exactly does the PPR scoring rankings mean? Standard scoring plus 1 point per reception? I have Reggie Bush as one of my keepers and every ranking i see has him way down there bc most rankings aren't PPR. I just want to get a sense on what scoring methods you use to create these rankings.
Jim, PPR scoring = point-per-reception. In this case, it is one point for every reception at RB, WR, TE. Yardage is 10 yards (rush or receiver) = 1 point; all rush/receive TDs are six points. Pass is 1 point per 20 yards and 4 points per passing TD
Please explain why you have ap listed as a second tier ppr guy? Besides being incredibly overated as a #1 pick in non ppr for having 10 tds and 9 fumbles when he only played 3 defenses ranked higher than 18th last season, he has terrible hands. Explanation?
I'm not the one who posted the rankings, but he did have 1,760 rushing last year and if they get Favre his numbers will only get better, including receptions. He has shown the ability to catch it out of the backfield. He is still a top 3 pick on my rankings, ppr league or not.
I'm not sure I agree Peterson is a top-three back in ppr leagues. He had a great season last year and was only the 9th best RB in my league's scoring. Is he great? Oh, hell yea! It's important to know your league's rules though.
Ace - Peterson simply doesn't catch the football. It's not that he isn't capable of it, because he is an OK receiver out of the backfield. Of his 385 touches last year, only 21 were receptions. He's an amazing back no doubt, but he unless something changes drastically (with or without Favre) he isn't going to catch more than about 25 balls this year.
I think that Peterson will catch more balls this year than the past 2 as Favre throws the screen very well, remember the screen ran in Green Bay for so many years? It's not that AD can't catch, it's just he hasn't been used as a receiver out of the backfield that much. And oh yeah with him and only him do you get a back that can have 2,000 rushing yards and 25 TD's.
In my Keeper League, my 2 Defense choices are New England and Arizona. In various cheat sheets, both have been ranked ahead of the other. Not very good choices, but who would you keep?
question i can keep 1 in your ppr scoring but passing td r 6 points warner ,chris johnson rb tenn, steve slaton, marion barber, TO who do u think i like c johnson tenn
Why is it that the ADP ranks are not adjusted to reflect how the PPR scoring changes their values? It looks like the ADP is the same in all your overall rankings no matter what format... It might be nice to have have show how the positions value relate to each other or else this is ranking is just the same as any other FFball's magazine / website rankings. Thanks.
Sorry about the typos above. What I meant to type was, "Why is it that the ADP ranks are not adjusted to reflect how PPR scoring changes their values? It looks like the ADP is the same in all your overall rankings no matter what format... It might be nice to show how the position values relate to each other or else this ranking is just the same as any other FFball's magazine / website rankings. Thanks."
i am in a 12 team PPR league, 1 pt per reception, 1 pt per 10 yards, .33 per completion and .25 per carry - 6 pts for all TD's, including QB - how does this impact these rankings?
Can one of the KFFL editors please justify Adrien Peterson as the #1 RB for PPR? As John said, he had a very good year last year but only ranked #9 in PPR. I'd love you hear what kind of stats you think he is going to put up in order to be the #1 RB.
I DARE YOU TO RESPOND!! (jk, but i would like a response)
Tom - only since you dared us! Look at the backs behind Peterson and try to find one that has less questions surrounding them than Peterson. AD isn't going to catch the most passes amongst backs, but he's the best pure running back in the league right now and the one that has the best shot at hitting 2K yards this year. He's the safest No. 1 pick in any scoring format right now.
I don't understand the ranking of Michael Crabtree ahead of guys like Percy Harvin and Chris Henry. You have no idea what this guy is going to do in the season or if he's even going to play for that matter. Why is he 45th WR on the board?
