"Handcuffing" is the term used when you own key players and their backups, a practice most commonly used with the running back position.

Handcuffing doesn't necessarily sound like a good method by trade, but it has become extremely important in this era of running back dominance. If your running back gets injured, if even for a game, that player's backup becomes a must-own in all fantasy leagues. KFFL will keep you up-to-date with which players are best to handcuff to which running backs. This chart is fluid and will change weekly.
