Kansas City Royals C Salvador Perez (leg) was not just getting a scheduled day of rest Wednesday, July 10, against the New York Yankees, but he was out due to tightness in his right lower leg. "He's got a bone bruise and he's got a muscle bruise in his calf, which results in tightness in the calf," manager Ned Yost said.
