Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: RB - Week 14 (with video)
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.
Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions
The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.
Word out of Titletown indicates James Starks (knee) suffered a significant knee injury late in the team's Week 13 win and could be lost for the season. This, coming on the heels of the announcement that Cedric Benson (Lisfranc) is done for the year, left Green and fullback John Kuhn as the team's only healthy, experienced options in the backfield until veteran Ryan Grant was re-signed. It is tough to envision a meaningful role for the soon-to-be 30-year-old.
Green gained 70 yards on 13 touches this past Sunday and figures to get the majority of the action going forward. Add him right away.
Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire
The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.
Remember Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer? That's what I think is happening in New York, only it's Unfrozen Caveman Coordinator. "What is this forward pass you speak of? I'm just a caveman, Coach Ryan. Your fancy terminology frightens and confuses me." Well, either that or they've assembled an absolutely brutal assortment of quarterbacks. It's one or the other.
Whatever the reason, Powell has averaged 11.67 carries, 46.67 yards and a touchdown per game over the past three weeks. He's still second banana to Shonn Greene, but he's getting enough touches to be a factor.
Throw out a Week 11 no-show against the Green Bay Packers and Bell has accounted for 72.8 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game since Week 8. He'll face those same Packers this coming Sunday night, and their run defense looked like Swiss cheese against the Minnesota Vikings. Add to that a banged-up receiver corps and Bell could continue to produce decent numbers.
Believe it or not, the Texans are already on the cusp of wrapping up home-field advantage. Once that happens, look for them to lean on the combination of Forsett and Tate to help Arian Foster rest up for the playoffs. Forsett seems like the smarter addition - he has 210 rushing yards over the past three weeks - but Tate saw action on Sunday for the first time since Week 7 and is the more accomplished player.
If you've got roster space you can add one of them now. Otherwise, keep an eye on the situation and be ready to pounce.
With Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) and Jalen Parmele (groin - Injured Reserve) already out, Rashad Jennings (concussion) joined them after suffering a concussion. He was replaced by Owens, who ran seven times for 29 yards. Clearly when you're on your fourth option it's not that exciting, and maybe MJD will be back soon. Still, if you're desperate for help, Owens might offer something.
