If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.
Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire
The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.
Dan Bailey, Dallas Cowboys (47 percent)
Lindell heating up
Bailey was clutch in Week 11, hitting both a game-tying and game-winning field goal. He finished with 11 points and is now averaging 9.33 points over his last six games. Bailey's accuracy combined with Dallas' ability to provide him with chances makes him a solid fantasy kicker.
Rian Lindell, Buffalo Bills (73 percent)
After an incredibly slow start, Lindell has picked it up recently. He scored a season-high 13 points this past Thursday and has averaged 9.75 points per game during Buffalo's past four contests. Weather can be a factor in Buffalo, but Lindell's recent work should be considered encouraging.
NEW - Phil Dawson, Cleveland Browns (68 percent)
Feast or famine is a good way to describe Dawson's production this season - in seven of Cleveland's 10 games he has tallied eight points or more; in the other three he has scored four points COMBINED. Despite kicking for a below-average offense, Dawson keeps finding ways to score ... usually.
Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays
The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straits. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.
NEW - Kai Forbath, Washington Redskins (93 percent)
Nobody has allowed opposing kickers to score more points (10.8) or attempt more field goals (3.5) per game over the past four weeks than the Dallas Cowboys. They host the 'Skins on Thanksgiving, and Forbath hasn't missed a field goal since replacing Billy Cundiff five games ago. That makes him an enticing one-week option.
About Herija C. Green
A graduate of the prestigious Top Gun school, Green's ego writes checks his body can't cash. When he's not overdrawing his ego's bank account, Green enjoys games of beach volleyball, riding his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, and buzzing the tower (whether the pattern is full or not). He resides in the Danger Zone and yes, Ice... Man, he is dangerous. He also writes.
