The St. Louis Rams selected Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead with the 50th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Fantasy analysis: Pead will give Sam Bradford another target to work with, and Steven Jackson should get a fewer reps to help him stay healthy. The Cincinnati product is a third-down specialist and benefited from a strong draft season. Pead has mild fantasy value in point-per-reception leagues in 2012. His big-play style could result in a handful of scores, but that may be the only way he finds the end zone. His long-term value is moderate, as his frame probably will not allow him to take much of a pounding with an increased role. About Cory J. Bonini
