Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: One-week playsThe following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. Connor Barth, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (94 percent) Barth hasn't missed a kick in the last four weeks, connecting on seven field goal attempts and six extra point attempts. He has missed just four kicks (19-of-23) all year.
Seattle is giving up just 1.75 field goal attempts per game but has yielded 4.00 extra points per game over the last month. They're sitting in ninth in the league per game in kicking points surrendered (8.5) per game in that time. The 'Hawks have allowed at least 33 points in six of their last eight games, the two exceptions being the Jimmy Clausen-led Carolina Panthers and the Derek Anderson-led Arizona Cardinals. It's a good bet Tampa will be able to rack up some points when Seattle makes the cross-country trip to Florida. Ryan Succop, Kansas City Chiefs (74 percent) Succop has attempted just four field goal attempts, making three, in the last four weeks. However, he kicked two field goals last week, and with Matt Cassel (illness) getting healthier, more attempts should be on the way. The last two weeks' low totals could be tied to Brodie Croyle starting behind center and an injured Cassel. Tennessee is giving up 2.25 field goal attempts and 2.25 extra point attempts per game over the last month. They've surrendered only 7.5 kicking points per game, but a big reason for that is because opposing kickers are averaging only 1.75 field goal makes per game in the last four weeks.
