A potential runs increase in a more powerful lineup boosts the speedster's value. His PT isn't yet guaranteed, but Toronto needs a consistent leadoff and thievish type; some reshuffling would keep Davis in the lineup. If his role remains up in the air and your draft mates let him fall, Davis' value will be hard to pass up.
Benoit will be in another eighth-inning role and again stands as his bullpen's best closer-in-waiting, this time behind Jose Valverde and in front of Joel Zumaya. Even a lucky opponents' BABIP and potential statistical correction can't take away from Benoit's deep league-ownable command. Motown's future savior? With Detroit's three-year commitment to him and Valverde in the last year of his deal, don't rule it out, even in the second half of 2011.
The 2007 first-round draft pick posted a 2.48 relief ERA and promising command in his last two farm seasons, which included five saves for Double-A New Hampshire last year. Maybe the 25-year-old could be successful as a ratio setup man one day, but he isn't a concern for your draft.
Like Magnuson, the sidearming Farquhar, 23, closed for New Hampshire in 2010 (17 saves) and displayed some K upside. And like Magnuson, Farquhar isn't relevant on draft day.
