Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore?'s Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Corner infielders

Kila Ka'aihue, 1B, Kansas City Royals

Kansas City Royals 1B Kila Ka'aihue
Killer Ka'aihue

The slugger is beginning to make the move of his regular at-bats in the month of September (21-for-76, .276, five homers, 15 RBIs). He dotted the i and crossed the t last night (3-for-4, two homers and a triple that was nearly a third ding dong).

Ka'aihue may be showing KC what it was missing when the club gave him no real shots at PT despite high-quality minor league numbers. He works a walk quite well despite a penchant for whiffing, and he has mammoth power. If you're looking to close strong in daily leagues, go here.

Don Kelly, 1B/3B/OF, Detroit Tigers

Miguel Cabrera (ankle) will sit out the club's final few games of 2010. Figure Kelly to be the fill-in most of the time. Kelly, 30, has hit just .253 with seven homers in 217 at-bats this season, but he has had a great September (15-for-45, .333, three homers, eight RBIs). He's a solid player.
