Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Key

Acquire Add player (in most circumstances)
Consider Add for speculation or because of need
Watch Track player, consider if trend continues
Pass Do not add player (in most circumstances)

Corner infielders

Brent Morel, 3B, Chicago White Sox

Morel hit a combined .322 with 16 homers at two stops Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte - this year. In The Show, Morel has hit two jacks, but he's 6-for-32, which doesn't fit his profile.

Morel smokes line drives and makes a lot of contact, with moderate power. He stole eight bases this year and, last year at the advanced Class A level, 25. Statistically, at least, he should remind you of Michael Young, who has also been fortunate enough to hit in a bandbox.

Morel plays excellent defense should be a rock-solid, consistent player for years. Keeper leaguers, especially, shouldn't ignore the promise of dependability.

Shallow mixed: Pass

Deep mixed: Consider

AL-only: Acquire
