Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Key

Acquire Add player (in most circumstances)
Consider Add for speculation or because of need
Watch Track player, consider if trend continues
Pass Do not add player (in most circumstances)

Pitchers

Dillon Gee, SP, New York Mets

Gee, 24, is in the rotation thanks to the assured absence of Johan Santana (shoulder). The Mets shut down Jenrry Mejia (shoulder) as well. As a minor leaguer, the right-handed Gee has fanned about eight hitters per nine and walked less than two per nine.

Perhaps there's more to his 4.96 ERA in his first full season at Triple-A Buffalo than meets the eye. In two starts (13 frames), Gee picked up one win and allowed just seven hits and one run; he struck out seven and walked seven, too. He induces a fair and upwardly mobile rate of grounders, too.

Alas, Gee isn't blessed with great stuff, and his confidence in his repertoire shows in his pitch tallies. He has been the quite "lucky," as they say. If he starts throwing super heavy stuff down ... Don't be fooled by the great start.
