Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore?'s Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Acquire Add player (in most circumstances)
Consider Add for speculation or because of need
Watch Track player, consider if trend continues
Pass Do not add player (in most circumstances)

J.J. Putz, RP, Chicago White Sox

Chicago White Sox RP Bobby Jenks
Jenks jinxed? Putz primed?

The White Sox activated Putz (shoulder) from the DL today. He has obviously rebounded extremely well this season (6-5, three saves, 2.68 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 55 K's in 47 innings). He has also, along with Matt Thornton, served as a back-end option at times that Bobby Jenks has been unavailable. Such scenarios have popped up somewhat frequently.

Jenks (forearm) may be in the midst of another of them. Reportedly, his soreness is minor and, originally, expected to be available on Friday. Now the ChiSox say that it'll be a couple of days. Things change quickly, as you know. And they don't always go down the way a team anticipates. Putz has been a quality fantasy play either way.
