Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Pitchers

Matt Thornton, RP, Chicago White Sox

Chicago White Sox RP Matt Thornton
Might steal a save or two

The ChiSox activated Thornton (forearm) from the disabled list at the beginning of the weekend. The lefty is in the midst of one of his underappreciated seasons (three wins, six saves, 2.61 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 66 K's in 48 1/3 frames, now).

Fantasy owners don't often hang on to relievers who get hurt, and apparently, few pick them back up, too. Questioning the impact that Thornton can have at this stage of the year? Ozzie Guillen said that he might ease his lefty back into late-inning work, but there Thornton was on Sunday, picking up a save. One way or another, Bobby Jenks' usage patterns could be a factor here.
