Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore?'s Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Acquire Add player (in most circumstances)
Consider Add for speculation or because of need
Watch Track player, consider if trend continues
Pass Do not add player (in most circumstances)

Rich Harden, SP, Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers SP Rich Harden
Still Harden to handle

Here we go again. The Rangers brought Harden (shoulder) back from the disabled list for the 18th time this season. Same old story: plenty of potential here, plenty of risk. But we're not talking about a draft pick; we're talking about a free-agent pickup.

If you have some other player wasting space on your bench, it never hurts to stash Harden. Given his volatility, it's risky to spot him. Harden threw 6 2/3 no-hit innings, striking out six, against the Minnesota Twins last night. He walked five, but he gave you an idea of what he can do.

Carlos Carrasco, SP, Cleveland Indians

The Indians plan to call Carrasco up by September and throw him into the rotation. He's one of the club's most talented minor league pitchers. He's pretty inconsistent and hasn't experienced success in the majors (8.87 ERA in 22 1/3 innings). He isn't a priority in mixed leagues. However, Carrasco should be on fantasy radars, at least.
