Mark Teahen, 3B/OF, Chicago White Sox

Chicago White Sox 3B/OF Mark Teahen
Mark is ready to Teahen off

The ChiSox activated Teahen (finger) from the disabled list today. He's hitting .255 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 137 at-bats this year. The South Siders optioned Dayan Viciedo to Triple-A Charlotte. However, manager Ozzie Guillen said that Teahen won't play at the hot corner every day.

Teahen's minimal offense and Omar Vizquel's relative resurgence are two glaring reasons for that decision. As a left-handed hitter, Teahen could still find himself in the lineup somewhat regularly. He was 12-for-33, with 10 walks, on his rehab assignment.
